Universal Pictures Home Entertainment added director M. Night Shyamalan’s new thriller, The Visit to its line-up, scheduling a Blu-Ray Disc and DVD version for release in January.

When Becca and Tyler are sent to their grandparents’ secluded Pennsylvania farmhouse for a weeklong stay, they quickly discover something is not right with the elderly couple. Faced with strange rules and increasingly frightening behavior, the children soon realize it will take all their wits to make it home alive.

The DVD and Blu-Ray version will contain identical bonus features, including an Alternate Ending and a selection of Deleted Scenes along with the Featurettes ”The Making of The Visit” and ”Becca’s Photos”.

“The Visit” will be in stores around the country on January 5 for $34.98 on Blu-Ray Disc and $29.98 on DVD.
