The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh gets reissued

Winnie the Pooh has long been shuffled and re-edited for generations to enjoy his shorts. But the 1977 film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh will be coming to DVD from Buena Vista Home Entertainment is the new Friendship Edition this summer.

Full of fun and heartwarming stories this animated classic tells the tale of the first, unforgettable meeting
between Tigger and Pooh. Your family will laugh along when Pooh gets stuck in Rabbit’s house from eating too
much honey and the lovable characters’ flurry of hilarious activity on a windy day. These timeless adventures
are brought to life through extraordinary Disney animation and engaging songs, such as “Little Black Rain
Cloud” and “Rumbly In My Tumbly.”

The new DVD will in many ways mirror the old DVD, but comes with some nice new features as well including a bonus episode of My Friends Tigger and Pooh, the 2002 featurette The Story Behind the Masterpiece, the theme song performed by Carly Simon, a game and art gallery, a story and a sing-a-long.

The DVD is actually arriving very soon. June 19th, to be specific. The disc is priced at $29.99.
