Universal Home Entertainment has added The Boy Next Door to its release line-up, allowing the film about a dangerous obsession to slip onto Blu-Ray Disc and DVD in April.

Jennifer Lopez stars as Claire Peterson, a high-school literature teacher struggling to get back in the dating game after separating from her cheating husband while raising her adolescent son.  When handsome and charismatic 19-year-old Noah (Ryan Guzman) moves in next door, Claire has a moment of weakness that leads to an intimate night together.  Noah’s attraction quickly turns into a violent obsession, threatening to tear apart Claire’s world and endanger the people she loves.  

Among the bonus materials found on the Blu-Ray/DV + DigitalHD Combo you will find a Commentary Track by Director Rob Cohen, as well as Deleted Scenes and a Making-of Featurette.

“The Boy Next Door” will be in stores on April 28 for $34.98 as a Blu-Ray/DVD Combo and $$29.98 on DVD.
