Paramount Home Entertainment and Lucasfilm Ltd. have just made an official announcement that the world‘s favorite globe-trotting archaeologist is, at long last, embarking on his greatest adventure ”” the journey to Blu-Ray Disc.

Scheduled to arrive in the fall of 2012, this is a preliminary announcement and no details or specs have been unveiled yet, other than that the set will feature all four of Indy‘s thrilling adventures, using the highest possible high definition picture and audio presentation ”“ along with a “best of” collection of Documentaries, Interviews, Featurettes and a few new surprises.
