Lionsgate Home Entertainment has added the super-sized actioner The Expendables to their line-up, scheduling a release of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc for November.

Sylvester Stallone stars as Barney Ross, leader of The Expendables, a tight-knit team of skilled combat vets turned mercenaries. Hired by a powerful covert operator, the team jets off to a small South American country to overthrow a ruthless dictator. Once there, they find themselves caught in a deadly web of deceit and betrayal. Using every weapon at their disposal, they set out to save the innocent and punish the guilty in this blistering action-packed thriller.

Arriving on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc, this who-is-who in action cinema will feature a Commentary Track by writer/director/star Sylvester Stallone , as well as Deleted Scenes and Bloopers. For a more in-depth look at the making of the film, there will be the Featurette ”Before The Battle” and the feature-length Documentary ”Inferno”.

“The Expendables” will get on the job on November 23 for $29.99 on DVD and $39.99 on Blu-Ray Disc.
