Paramount Home Entertainment this morning unveiled details about the upcoming release of Road To Perdition on Blu-Ray Disc in August.

Two-time Academy Award® winner Tom Hanks in “one of his best performances” (Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times) stars as Michael Sullivan, a father fighting to keep his only son from traveling the Road to Perdition. Directed by Oscar® winner Sam Mendes (American Beauty), this towering motion picture achievement has been acclaimed by audiences and critics alike. Apart from a high definition presentation of the movie, the release will include an Introduction by Sam Mendes in high definition, as well as a Commentary Track by director Sam Mendes. A series of Featurettes will also be included, such as ”The Making of Road To Perdition,” “A Cinematic Life: The Art & Influence of Conrad Hall” – in high def – and ”The Library: A Further Exploration of the World of Road to Perdition”. Also included are Additional and Deleted Scenes with optional commentary by Director Sam Mendes, as well as the movie’s Theatrical Trailer in high definition.

“Road To Perdition” will arrive on Blu-Ray Disc on August 3.
