Paramount’s Sapphire Series has the potential to add many Oscar winning classics to it’s lineup and the next two titles have been announced, but they’re nothing new. The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II are both coming to Blu-ray as individual releases.

Not surprisingly, these are the same discs that were meticulously created for the recent box set and are simply being rereleased as individual discs. No announcement has been made concerning Part III. Sadly, the box set placed the lion’s share of extras on a supplemental disc. It is unknown if that bonus disc will be included in either release.

Look for both to arrive on February 2nd.
