The second season of Star Trek will be coming to Blu-ray disc in September from Paramount and CBS Home Video.

Although the first season of the series was released some time back, this is the first time the second season of the series – containing many favorites – is coming to a high def format. Although little is known about the set, it will contain both the original and tweaked versions of the season in 1080p and many of the extras from the DVD set are likely to make the leap over.

The set arrives on September 22nd with a suggested retail price of $116.00.
