Lionsgate Home Entertainment has added Battle for Terra to their September line-up, bringing the animated feature film to DVD and Blu-Ray Disc.

“Battle For Terra” is the thrilling sci-fi animated film featuring the voices of Luke Wilson, Evan Rachel Wood, Dennis Quaid, Danny Glover and James Garner, a visually stunning, action-packed tale for animation fans of all ages.

When environmental destruction forces people to leave Earth, the remaining survivors rocket through space on a quest to find a new home. At first it seems like the beautiful planet Terra is the perfect place to take over. But when a fighter pilot (Wilson) crashes on Terra, he forms an unlikely friendship with a rebellious Terrian girl named Mala (Wood). Now, putting aside their differences, the young heroes join forces to protect Terra from destruction in this exciting, action-filled sci-fi adventure.

The DVD version offers an anamorphic widescreen transfer with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and will also include a Commentary Track with director Aristomenis Tsirbas, as well as Deleted Scenes, Storyboards and a Making-of Featurette.

The Blu-Ray version will come featuring a 1080p high definition transfer, complemented by a DTS 5.1 HD Master Audio track. It will include the same bonus materials as the DVD version.
