Forget about high explosive remakes, the original Transformers and G.I. Joe are coming as complete series sets from Shout! Factory.

First up is Transeformers – 25th Anniversary Matrix of Leadership Edition: Collector’s Set which is not only a mouthful, but a box full of DVDs. The entire series arrives on 16 discs along with featurettes, concept art, a voice cast reuninon, toy commercials, printable scripts, psas, From the Files of Teletraan-2, fan art an animated fan film and a 60 page book. Quite a collection.

Then on the G.I. Joe front, you can get a 17 disc set with a series of comparible features, although none have been announced as of yet.

Both sets will be available in July with Transformers and Joe being priced at $140.00 and $145.00 respectively.
