The Blu-ray release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs isn’t coming until October. But some new details have arrived.

The new release will carry two Blu-rays and a DVD. The film itself is presented in 1080p high defnition with a 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The extras of this new Diamond Collection title include an interactive tour of Hyperion Studios, a unique menu system that learns viewers habits, optional DisneyView (which fills in the black bars with customized imagery). A customized phone message and games. No mention is made of specific featurettes or behind the scenes footage, but that information is likely integrated into the more dynamic interface of the Blu-ray.

The set arrives October 6th with a $39.99 suggested retail price.
