Criterion seems to have found a nice routine of announcing two new titles a month and this month is no different. Jaques Tati’sPlaytime and Akira Kurosawa’s Kagemusha are both coming to Blu-ray in August.
Kagemusha will arrive with an audio commentary by Stephen Prince, featurettes Whickey commercials, a photo gallery and trailers. Playtime will come with an introduction by Terry Jones, a partial commentary, featurettes and an alternate dub of the film.
Both discs will carry a $39.99 price tag and will arrive on August 18th.
