Burn Notice: Season 2 gets a release date in June
When spies get fired, they don’t get a letter from human resources – they get burned. 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is now bringing the Second Season of their TV show Burn Notice to DVD and Blu-Ray Disc in June.
Covert intelligence operative Michael Westen has been punched, kicked, choked and shot. Now he’s being burned, and someone’s going to pay! When Michael receives a “burn notice,” blacklisting him from the intelligence community and compromising his very identity, he must track down a faceless nemesis without getting himself killed in the process. Meanwhile, Michael is forced to double as a private investigator on the dangerous streets of Miami in order to survive.
Arriving as a 4-disc DVD set, the show will be presented in its original widescreen aspect ratio with a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track. Apart from the 16 episodes that make up the season, the release will also contain a number of Deleted Scenes and Commentary Tracks on select episodes. Further you will find a Gag Reel as part of the release and a NIXin’ it up on “Burn Notice” Featurette.
The Blu-Ray version will arrive on 3 discs, presenting the show in 1080p high definition with a DTS 5.1 Master Audio track. It will include all the same extras as the DVD version, of course.
