What Doesn’t Kill You will make for great viewing

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing Brian Goodman’s thriller What Doesn’t Kill You to DVD and Blu-Ray Disc this April.

“What Doesn’t Kill You” stars Mark Ruffalo (Brian) and Academy® Award winner Ethan Hawke* (Paulie) as friends who grew up like brothers on the gritty streets of south Boston. They do whatever it takes to survive, living by the code of their dog-eat-dog neighborhood. Petty crimes and misdemeanors grow into more serious offenses and eventually, they fall under sway to organized crime boss Pat Kelly (Brian Goodman). As Brian becomes increasingly lost in a haze of drugs and “jobs, ” even the love he has for his wife (Amanda Peet) and his children does not seem like it will be enough to redeem him. Meanwhile, Paulie plans “one last heist” but knows it will take both of them to pull it off. How can they escape the only life they know?

Featuring an anamorphic widescreen transfer and a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track, the DVD version will also include a Commentary Track with Writer/Director Brian Goodman and Writer Donnie Wahlberg. Also, a number of Deleted and Alternate Scenes will be part of the release, as well as the Making-Of Featurette ”Makes You Stronger”.

The Blu-Ray version will offer up a 1080p high definition transfer and high definition audio and include the same bonus materials as the DVD version.

“What Doesn’t Kill You” arrives on April 28 and can be yours for $24.96 on DVD or $39.95 on Blu-Ray.
