Boston Legal left the airways in recent months, but the final episodes are coming to DVD. The good news is that the fifth season box set seems a little more substantial than past sets. The bad news is no sign of this series coming to high def.

The final thirteen episodes arrive on four discs along with a larger number of supplements including the featurettes Denny and Alan: Friends to the End, Denny’s Daughter: The Untold Story and Closing Statement: the Boston Legal Series Finale along with eleven deleted scenes.

The final set arrives on May 5th with a suggested retail price of $49.98. Until a complete series set or some Blu-rays arrive, this is goodbye to Denny Crane.
