The original CSI is currently enjoying it’s ninth season on television, and it will be among the few catalog television released to finally venture into high definition territory, thanks to Paramount Home Entertainment, when the studio will release CSI: The Complete First Season on Blu-Ray.

“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” is a fast-paced drama about a passionate team of forensic investigators trained to solve crimes the old-fashioned way – by examining the evidence. CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is on the case 24-7, scouring the scene, collecting the irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that will solve the mystery.

No specs have been announced yet on the crime series set, but the box will arrive on May 12th.
