The Silence of the Lambs in March

The Silence of the Lambs swept the Oscars and 1991 and now comes to Blu-ray from MGM Home Entertainment.

A psychopath nicknamed Buffalo Bill is murdering young women across the Midwest. Believing it takes one to know one, the FBI sends Agent Clarice Starling to interview a demented prisoner who may provide clues to the killer’s actions. That prisoner is psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant, diabolical cannibal who agrees to help Starling only if she’ll feed his morbid curiosity with details about her own complicated life. As their relationship develops, Starling is forced to confront not only her own hidden demons but also an evil so powerful that she may not have the courage – or strength – to stop it!
The disc is quite full with the featurettes Breaking the Silence, Undertsanding the Madness, Scoring the Silence and the original 1991 EPK, the documentaries Inside the Labyrinth: Making The Silence of the Lambs and The Silence of the Lambs: Page to Screen, deleted scenes, outtakes, a phone message, TV spots, a theatrical trailer and teaser.

Quite a set for a magnificent film. Look for it on March 3rd with a suggested retail price of $34.99.
