The new Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars is already coming to DVD, but a whole season, it is not.

Apparently the series will be released in volumes, a few episodes at a time covering short story arcs. I suppose this isn’t too surprising from the folks behind “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles”. The first volume is entitled A Galaxy Divided and will carry four episodes: Ambush, Rising Malevolence, Shadow of Rising Malevolence and Destroy Rising Malevolence.

No real extras have been announced. The episodes are widescreen, but coming only to DVD. Look for them on March 24th for $19.98.
