The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice takes hold in February

It flickered across TV screen only recently, and now Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a DVD version of the made-for-TV movie The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice for release in February.

Noah Wyle, as Flynn Carson, is back, along with Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin in another adventure in “The Librarian” series. On a deadly mission to recover the historic Judas Chalice, Flynn is saved by – and falls in love with – Simone, a dazzling French woman who harbors a terrifying secret. But when double-crossed by a respected professor (Bruce Davison) and ambushed by a ruthless gang, Flynn realizes Simone’s secret, his true mission and a shocking discovery are all lying within a decaying New Orleans crypt – a crypt that may be holding Count Vlad Dracula, whom the world has feared for centuries.

The DVD will feature an 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer of the film and supplement it with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. As extras, you will also find Deleted Scenes and Visual Effects Deconstruction Sequences on the disc. Further, A Look Behind the Monastery Scene will be part of the release.

“The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice” will arrive in retail stores on February 24 with a $24.96 sticker price.
