Unlike DVD, Blu-ray still remains a bit of an elite item. But Pioneer is trying to ease the transition for the public with a new high def starter kit with the new Blu-ray Home Theater in a Box coming next year. The set will come with a Bu-ray Disc player a 5.1 sound system with speakers.

No word on price yet, but look for the box to start coming to stores soon.
