Midnight Movie will give horror a new face

Peace Arch Entertainment has added Midnight Movie to their release line-up, bringing this terrifying old-school horror film to DVD in January.

At a seedy theater in a sleepy suburban town, a group of friends get together for a midnight screening of an early 1970s horror film, unaware that the director/star of the film has something more in store for them than an evening of innocent jolts. Good natured heckling as the movie begins is replaced with horrified disbelief when the movie’s grotesque villain butchers one of their friends on screen – will they be bale to overcome the killer before they are all pulled into his supernatural celluloid world?

“Midnight Movie” will arrive in 16×9 anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. as extras the release will contain a Commentary Track by first-time director Jack Messitt, as well a Deleted Scenes and Outtakes. Also included are Cast and Crew Featurettes and Storyboards along with the movie’s Trailer.

“Midnight Movie” can flicker onto your TV screen on January 6 for $29.99.
