Yogi Bear and The Flintstones keep coming

Long before Adult Swim, Hanna-Barbera put Fred Flinstone and Yogi Bear on the big screen. Now Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear and The Man Called Flintsone are coming to DVD from Warner Home Video.

Hide your “pic-a-nic” baskets! Yogi Bear isn’t your average bear in his first theatrical full-length movie, Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear. Tired of Yogi’s “pic-a-nic” basket stealing shenanigans, Jellystone National Park’s Ranger Smith ships Yogi off to the San Diego Zoo. Yogi however, outwits Ranger Smith by substituting another bear while he remains in Jellystone. Yogi’s girlfriend Cindy, thinks he’s been shipped away, goes looking for him and is captured by a circus owner who forces her to perform a perilous high-wire act. Yogi Bear, joined by pal Boo Boo, travel together across the country to rescue Cindy in this animated adventure that explores the world from Jellystone to Venice.

The Man Called Flintstone marked the Stone-Aged family’s first theatrical film. The adventure begins when Fred is recruited by a secret organization to take the place of Rock Slag, an injured agent who happens to be Fred’s exact double. His mission: to travel to Eurock to find the arch-baddie Green Goose and stop his plan of world domination. The catch is that Fred is unable to tell his family or friends about the task. So pretending to be on a modern Stone-Age family vacation with Wilma, Barney and Betty, Fred wings it overseas for some wild and woolly mammoth intrigue.
Priced at $19.98 each, the films will both arrive on December 2nd.
