As we reported earlier this morning already Anchor Bay Entertainment is releasing a 20th Anniversary Special Edition of Hellraiser II: Hellbound this winter.

Return to the domain of pleasure and pain as Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence) is committed to a psychiatric hospital run by the strange Dr. Channard. But when the doctor uncovers the secret of the Lament Configuration, he resurrects the skinless corpse of Kirsty’s evil stepmother (Clare Higgins) and calls forth the legions of the damned led by Pinhead (Doug Bradley). Now the doorway to Hell has been re-opened, the brutal Cenobites again walk the Earth and the sweet suffering of evil has only just begun.

The DVD will feature an anamorphic transfer of the film with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. As extras you will find a Commentary Track with director Tony Randel, screenwriter Peter
Atkins and actor Ashley Laurence on the disc. In addition, you will get to see all-new Interview Featurettes on the release, such as “The Soul Patrol” featuring interviews with Cenobite actors, “Outside the Box” offering up a new interview with director Tony
Randel, “The Doctor is In” with new interview footage by Kenneth Cranham.

Also look for the Featurette “Lost in the Labyrinth” as well as an On-set Interview with Clive Barker and On-set Interviews with cast and crew members. The release will be rounded out by a Poster and Stills Gallery as well as four Theatrical Trailers and two TV Spots.

You will be Hellbound on December 30 when this DVD hits retail shelves for $24.97.
