Fox jingles in the Christmas season and leaves Kevin at home alone

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has just announced to new additions to their Holiday Blu-Ray line-up. Coming in time for Christmas, Home alone and Jingle All The Way will arrive on the format.

Home Alone is of course everyone’s favorite Christmas caper starring Macaulay Culkin as a little boy who’s being left behind when his family rushes off for Christmas vacation.

Featuring a 1080p transfer that is complemented by a DTS 5.1 HD audio track, the release will also feature the bonus materials previously found on the “Family Fun Edition” DVD version. Look for a Commentary Track by director Chris Columbus, Deleted Scenes, Interviews and Featurettes.

Jingle All The Way tells the story of Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is determined to get his son (Jake Lloyd) the year’s most popular toy, the Turbo Man action figure. But he’s a little late. It is Christmas Even and everywhere he goes, it’s sold out. Soon, Howard finds himself in a crazed battle against time, crowds and a maniacal postman (Sinbad) who’s as determined as Howard to find Turbo Man!

Featuring a 1080p transfer and DTS 5.1 HD audio, the release will also contain the extras found on the previously released “Family Fun Edition.” Therefore, look for the Featurettes “Turbo Man Behind The Mask,” “Super Kids” and “The Making Of A Hero.”

“Home alone: Family Fun Edition” and “Jingle All The Way: Family Fun Edition” will be in stores on December 2 for $34.99 each.
