The beginning of season four of Battlestar Galactica is coming to DVD from Universal very early next year.

The first 10 episodes of the season are spread over four discs along with the television special Razor which will be available in both it’s broadcast and extended versions. The set will containt deleted scenes, minisodes, a season four sneak peek and trailer, the featurettes The Look of Battlestar Galactica, My Favorite Episode So Far, The Journey, Cylons: The Twelve, Season .1: The Untold Story – Untold and The Music of Battlestart Galactica, audio commentaries, podcast commentaries and video blogs.

All that is good news. The bad news is no announcement for Blu-ray as of yet. The DVD arrives January 6th for $49.98.
