Now it’s time for Bender’s Game

The third and penultimate Futurama movie is coming to DVD and, for the first time, Blu-ray disc this November when Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment releases Futurama: Bender’s Game.

With fuel prices skyrocketing, the Planet Express crew sets off on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the world’s only dark-matter mine, source of all spaceship fuel. But deep beneath the surface, they discover a far stranger place… a medieval land of dragons and sorcery and intoxicated knights who look suspiciously like Bender.

The new film will arrive on DVD with audio commentary by Matt Groening, David X. Cohen, Billy West, John DiMaggio, Tress MacNeille, Michael Rowe, Claudia Katz and Dwayne Carey-Hill, a storyboard animatic, Futurama Genetics Lab, the featurettes Dungeons & Dragons & Futurama, 3D Models and How To Draw “Futurama” in 83 Easy Steps, a deleted scene, outtakes, an anti-piracy warning from Bender and a sneak peeak at Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder.

The Blu-ray version will also come with Picture in Picture capabilities with BD-J presented in MPEG4 AVC on a 50Gb disc with 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio.

Both will arrive on November 4th, the DVD at $29.98 and the Blu-ray at $39.98. Hopefully Bender’s Big Score and The Beast With a Billion Backs will come to Blu-ray soon as well.
