To get people started off with some great Blu-Ray titles, Universal Home Entertainment has just announced a 3-disc Blu-Ray Disc set featuring the action titles Miamia Vice, U-571 and End Of Days.

Featuring a 1080p transfer, “Miami Vice” will also include a DTS HD 5.1 Master Lossless Audio track, as well as a Commentary Track by director Michael Mann. Further, the disc will contain the Featurettes “Miami Vice Undercover,” “Miami & Beyond: Shooting on Location,” and “Visualizing Miami Vice.” In addition, look for a U-Control feature on the disc also.

The Matthew McConaughey World War II actioner U-571 will also offer 1080p video and DTS HD 5.1 Master Lossless Audio. It will also contain a Commentary Track by director Jonathan Mostow and Universal’s U-Control feature.

The apocalyptic Arnold Schwarzenegger vehicle, End of Days arrives in 1080p also, with DTS HD 5.1 Master Lossless Audio and a Commentary Track by director Peter Hyams.

The “Action Starter Pack” will show up in stores on August 26 with a $59.98 price tag. Alternatively you can pick up each movie individually on the same date for $29.98.
