Remember the film Faces of Death from the ’80s? An underground cult hit that you couldn’t pick up at Blockbuster and lived in that twilight urban legend area with the Negative World on Super Mario Bros.? Well, technology ends all mysteries. Faces of Death is getting a wide DVD re-release and even a Blu-ray release this year.

Believe it or not, the discs will come with some extras includine a documentary on the making of the film, a featurette on the visual effects, trailers, outtakes (outtakes? really?) and deleted scenes.

The film will arrive on October 7th.
