The recent announcement of a Dark City director’s cut brought much excitement, just just as many questions. Now some new information is available about this film.
The new Blu-ray will carry not only the new director’s cut, but the original theatrical version as well via seamless branching. The film comes on a BD50 in 1080p VC-1 along with a 7.1 DTS-HD Master. In addition to an introduction by writer/director Alex Proyas, the disc contains audio commentaries (including the Roger Ebert commentary from the DVDs, two documentaries, photo galleries, essays and reviews on the film and a theatrical trailer.
Still set to arrive on July 29th, the Blu-ray, the disc has a suggested $28.99 retail price.
