Owners of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 video game console may have gotten a little desperate over the past months when the format war ended and the HD-DVD format faltered. Well, good news is on the way, as Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer just announced that Microsoft will be supporting Blu-Ray going forward. Device-driver support for Windows is currently in the works and of course, Blu-Ray support for the Xbox 360 is only a matter of time also. As I always said to those in the past who felt that Microsoft was such a strong HD-DVD proponent, for Microsoft switching camps is only a device-driver away. The proof is here now.
