Universal Home Entertainment has just announced that they will be release The Classic Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection: Volumes 1 & 2 through regular retail channels in May. As you may recall, these two box sets were previously available only through Best Buy stores, but were huge successes with their respective audiences, but finally all those of you who from outside the US, and those of you who simply didn’t have to grab a copy while they were in stores, here is the chance to own these classic science fiction gems also.

The DVD set includes the movies “Tarantula,” “The Mole People,” “The Incredible Shrinking Man,” “The Monolith Monsters,” “Monster On The Campus,” “Dr. Cyclops,” “Cult Of The Cobra,” “The Land Unknown,” “The Deadly Mantis” and “The Leech Woman,” all of them nicely restored and cleaned up in their original aspect ratios.

This 6-disc DVD set will be in stores on May 13 and can be yours for $59.98.
