The middle chapter of the Lonesome Dove story will finally air on television and arrive on DVD. Comanche Moon is arriving soon on DVD.

Comanche Moon follows Augustus McCrae and Woodrow F. Call as they continue their adventures as rugged Texas Rangers and deal with the ever-increasing tensions of adult life – Gus with his great love, Clara Forsythe, and Call with Maggie Tilton, the young prostitute who loves him.

The DVD set will be spread over two discs and will contain extended versions of the series bringing the run time to 284 minutes. Three featurettes will be available as well.

The set will be availabel for $29.95 and will come on February 26th. About a month after its television premiere from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
