Terry Gilliam’s fanciful retelling of the fable will return on Blu-ray when The Adventures of Baron Munchausen: 20th Anniversary Edition arrives in April.

In addition to the film, the Blu-ray will carry a graphics and picture track, an audio commentary, the documentary The Madness and Misadventures of Munchausen, the featurettes As We Once Dreamed It, A Voyage to the Moon and The Baron & Bucephalos Charge the Turkish Gates and deleted scenes.

Overall, quite an upgrade from the barebones DVD. The Blu-ray will arrive on April 8th.
