Universal brings Mr. Bean home for the HD holidays…

Universal Home Entertainment is set to release the G-rated cut of Mr. Bean’s Holiday on HD-DVD this fall.

The comedy follows the adventures of Rowan Atkinson’s Mr. Bean as he wins and trip to Cannes, but unwittingly separates a young boy from his father. Working to reunite the two, Mr. Bean explores France and discovers true love.

This new HD-DVD/DVD combo disc will include 20 minutes of Deleted Scenes, a collection of featurettes including French Beans, Beans in Cannes, and The Human Bean, as well as the film’s theatrical trailer.

The HD-DVD side of the disc boasts a 1080p transfer and a Dolby TrueHD surround track.

While an exact street date for “Mr. Bean’s Holiday” hasn’t been announced, the title is set to cost $39.98.
