Warner Home Video release the Ocean’s Trilogy gift set

Warner Home Video has just announced details about a Gift Set featuring the Ocean’s Trilogy. Slated for a November release the gift set will come to DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.

Timed to the DVD release of Ocean’s 13, the gift set contains the three films, Ocean’s 11, Ocean’s 12 and the brand new Ocean’s 13 in colorful collectible packaging.
In the 2001 film “Ocean’s 11” Danny Ocean (George Clooney) likes taking chances. All he asks is that his handpicked squad of ten grifters and cons play the game like they have nothing to lose. If all goes right, the payoff will be a fat $150 million.

In the 2004 sequel, “Ocean’s 12” the team is back. And then some. Twelve is the new eleven when Danny Ocean and pals return in a sequel to the cool caper that saw them pull off a $150 million heist. But $150 million doesn’t go as far as it used to. It’s time to pull off another stunner of a plan. Exciting locations include Amsterdam, Paris and Rome, the direction of Steven Soderbergh again and the original cast plus Catherine Zeta Jones and others.

In “Ocean’s 13”, the latest film in the series, Danny Ocean rounds up the boys for the most dazzling heist yet, after casino owner Willy Bank (Al Pacino) double-crosses one of the eleven, Reuben Tishkoff (Elliott Gould).

Featuring a superstar-studded cast that contains George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta- Jones, Ellen Barkin, Al Pacino, Bernie Mac, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Elliott Gould and many others, these films are some fun-filled action comedies that will make perfect gifts, of course.

The gift set will be in stores on November 13 and can be yours for $51.82 on DVD, or $79.98 in high definition. The increased price for the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray versions is in part justified by the fact that the high definition versions will include exclusive new extras for “Ocean’s 11” and “Ocean’s 12” such as never-before-seen footage and deleted scenes. Note however, that the HD DVD and Blu-Ray versions of these films will only be available in the giftsets; they will not be sold separately at this time.
