The HD-DVD of The Last Starfighter is coming from Universal this fall.

A new 1080p transfer along with sound in Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 are included along with a commentary, trailers and featurettes. The DVD which came out a few years back had a truly fantastic making of segment with the cast and crew. It’s unclear if this is included with the featurettes.

With a suggested retail price of $29.98, the HD arrives on September 18th.
