Take a look At World’s End this winter

We just got information about the home video release of the third installment of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, At World’s End from Buena Vista Home Entertainment, bringing the trilogy to a closure.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment has planned two DVD versions for the film – a single-disc release as well as a 2-disc special edition, both featuring anamorphic widescreen transfers of the movie with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio tracks. The $29.99 single-disc version will also include a Commentary Track by the filmmakers as well as Bloopers Of The Caribbean.. For $34.99 you can own the special edition that contains a second disc filled with extras in addition to the ones found on the single-disc version. On that disc you will find a series of Featurettes, such as “Anatomy of Scene: The Maelstrom” that takes you inside the climatic showdown between the Black Pearl and The Flying Dutchman, “Keith & the Captain,” offering up a revealing look at the relationship between living legend Keith Richards and Johnny Depp. Then there are “Hoist The Colors,” “Masters of Design,” “Jim Byrkit and The Map,” “Crash McCreary and the Krusty Pirates,” “Rick Heinrichs and the Singapore Set,” “Penny Rose and the Captain Teague Costumes,” “Inside The Brethren Court,” “The Pirate Code Revealed,” The World of Chow Yun-Fat,” and “The Pirate Maestro.”

The $35.99 Blu-Ray version will present the movie in a 1080p transfer qith uncompressed PCM 5.1 audio, as well as Dolby Digital tracks. The release will make extensive use of the Blu-Ray Java technology with the Jolly Roger Host, a fully interactive feature. Also included are all the bonus materials from the DVD special edition, but all bonus material are presented in full 1080p high definition. In addition the in-depth Documentary “Enter The Maelstrom” will be entirely Java-enhanced, taking you even further into the climatic showdown between the Black Pearl and The Flying Dutchman.
