It’s been 35 years since hillbillies and banjos were forever married in our minds. Deliverance gets a special edition treatment from Warner Home Entertainment.

In addition to the film and an audio commentary, with John Boorman, the DVD contains four featurettes; The Beginning, The Journey, Betraying the River and Delivered along with the documentary The Dangerous World of Deliverance.

The disc arrives on September 18th from Warner for $19.97. HD-DVD and Blu-ray versions are also coming for $28.99 on the same day.
