Pan’s Labyrinth

On the release of Guillermo Del Toro’s movie “Pan’s Labyrinth” the studio has also included some bonus materials hidden from plain sight.

Insert the second disc of the 2-disc DVD set and go to the “Director’s Notebook” section. There , select the menu entry “Notes And Sketches.” On the first screen of these notes, following the instruction screen, press the “Up” arrow key on your remote control. This will highlight a page that is sticking out from the right-hand page. Now press “Enter” to see that page. Press “Enter” again to return to the regular pages.

As you go through the notebook, you’ll come across a page with a drawing of the fig tree shaped like Pan’s horns – it is the 8th screen in case you want to count them. Press the “Down” arrow key on your remote control to highlight another page that is sticking out from the right-hand page. Press “Enter” now to see that page as well.
