The recent announcement of Heroes Season 1 on DVD excited many fans of the breakout freshman NBC series. The folks over at tvshowsondvd.com have broken the news on additional features on the HD-DVD set. The high definition box will include all the extras of the DVD set along with video commentaries from 12 episodes (viewable now on nbc.com), character bios and links to the hidden Helix found within the show. Except for the character bios (why aren’t those on the DVD), these new features seem to be taking advantage of the new format. More info and artwork can be found on their site.
