HBO takes its Taxicab Confessions to New York

You want the low-down on everything that is bothering people? HBO’s Emmy® winning, smash hit documentary series Taxicab Confessions: New York, New York may be just the right fix for you when it hits DVD in July

Producers Joe and Harry Gantz spent several months on the streets of the Big Apple following their ingeniously equipped cab, proving that there’s no place like New York, New York to find stories and situations as diverse as the city itself. None of the passengers were aware that their conversations were being captured – and as a result, the conversations are, as they’ve always been in the series, genuine and totally candid.

HBO Video is releasing the 11th edition of the popular series on DVD, which chronicles a disparate group of New Yorkers – from revelers and fetishists to romantics and lonely hearts – as they spill their innermost secrets to anonymous cab drivers. As a bonus you will find two additional never-before-seen rides on the release.

“Taxicab Confessions: New York, New York” is scheduled for released on July 17 and will carry a $14.97 suggested retail price.
