Mrs. Doubtfire takes the Special Edition route

From the surprising announcement of the day files, Mrs. Doubtfire is being revisited by Twentieth Century Fox as a special 2-disc edition coming later in the spring.

The film itself is presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS sound. A new audio commentary with Robin Williams and Marsha Garces Williams as well as the commentary from the existing DVD from Chris Columbus are included on the first disc along with thirty minutes worth of deleted scenes.

and Meet Mrs. Doubtfire. Also included are photo galleries for behind the scenes, makeup and publicity, a blooper reel, pencil tests, the animation sequence and the same sequence with alternate backgrounds., makeup tests, trailers and TV spots.

That’s a lot of Mrs. Doubtfire. The set arrives on May 8th for $19.98.
