Eragon flies to home video

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is producing Eragon for DVD and Blu-ray in the months to come with several variations.

A single disc DVD of the film will be available in both anamorphic widescreen and fullscree with an audio commentary by director Stefen Fangmeier. A special edition set will include a second disc which contains the documentary Inside The Inheritance Trilogy: The Magic of Eragon, the first two chapters of the novel Eldest, deleted scenes, character profiles, interviews on the next film, visual effects showcases, art galleries, a pronunciation guide, storyboards, and trailers. The DVDs will be home to a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. The Blu-ray version will contain all of the supplements with the film in MPEG-2 and DTS HD 5.1.

The single disc DVDs will be priced at $29.98 while the two disc set comes in at $34.98 and the BRD hits $39.98. All will rrive on March 20th.
