Dirty Dancing returns for the fourth time on DVD

Some movies you just can’t keep down and Dirty Dancing is definitely one of those films. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has plans to release the 1987 romantic dance-dramedy on DVD for a fourth time in May as a 20th Anniversary Edition.

Featuring an anamorphic widescreen transfer with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio, this time the release willl contain a Commentary Track by writer/co-producer Eleanor Bergstein. It will also feature a Trivia Track and Deleted Scenes.

Further you will find a New Interview with Patrick Swayze on the disc, as well as additional Cast & Crew Interviews. A Tribute To Jerry Orbach will also be part of the release along with the Featurette “The Classic Story On Stage.”

Multi-Angle Dance Sequences and Screen Tests will also be part of the release, as well as three Music Videos and the movie’s Theatrical Trailers.

Look out for the “Dirty Dancing: 20th Anniversary Edition” on May 8 with a $19.98 sticker price.
