Sony has A Man for All Seasons

The 1967 Academy Award Winner for Best Picture of the Year has slowly faded from the public consciousness, but Sony is breathing new life into the film when A Man for All Seasons.

In 16th-century England, the corrupt King Henry VIII betrays
the Roman Catholic Church to divorce his wife and marry his latest conquest
Anne Boleyn. Sir Thomas More is then
forced to choose between his principles and duty to his heretical king, who
has begun executing the treasonous with increasing frequency. The
historically profound battle of ideals also involves Cardinal Wolsey, Thomas Cromwell, and More’s valiant wife.

Despite being labeled as a “special edition”, the only feature on the disc is a short featurette entitled The Life of Sir Thomas More”.

The film will arrive on DVD on February 20th, 2007. The suggested retail price is $14.94.
