Warner offers a triple-threat

Warner Home Entertainment is trying a new tract in bringing library titles to DVD with the launch of the Triple Features Collection. Warner will be packaging triplets of classic titles together affordably.

Leading the way in the first wave will be a release of 12 classic westerns, all new to DVD, and all newly transferred. Six star the legendary John Wayne and six star Randolph Scott, whose remarkable screen career lasted more than four decades. The John Wayne films are The Telegraph Trail/ Somewhere in Sonora/ The Man from Monterey and The Big Stampede/ Ride Him Cowboy/ Haunted Gold; the Randolph Scott features are Colt 45/ Fort Worth/ Tall Man Riding and The Man Behind the Gun/ Thunder Over the Plains/ Riding Shotgun.

More triple features are likely on the way. The first two will arrive on November 7th for $14.98 each.
