All the King’s Men gets the presidential treatment

The political thriller All the King’s Men got a remake this summer and will be coming to both DVD and Blu-Ray next month from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

All The King’s Men tells the riveting story of an idealists’ rise to
political power in the South during the 1940s and 50s. The story follows the
rise and fall of charismatic politician, “Boss” Willie Stark and
uses politics as the framework to explore the more profound dilemmas of
human existence – sin, guilt and redemption. It’s a complex and captivating
story of human nature, power, corruption, idealism, romance and betrayal.
All The King’s Men explores the timelessness behind the loss of love,
betrayal of friends and self discovery.

The DVD will come loaded with supplements including deleted scenes, a making of featurette and the documentaries Shake Hands with the Devil, An American Classic, The Legend and Lore of Huey Long and L.A. Confidential: On Location with All the King’s Men.

Look for both discs to arrive on December 19th. The DVD and Blu-Ray will be priced at $28.95 and $38.95 respectively.
