Pathfinder Pictures continues to bring world cinema to American audiences with the DVD release of the Sri Lankan film The Outcast coming later in the winter.

A lonely widowed water-gate keeper is attracted to the
lonely young wife of a soldier who is away at the battlefront. Their passionate need for each other is strongly condemned by the hypocritical villagers. The tragedy unfolds as the village is starved of its precious water supply.

The DVD features incluse a Still gallery and an interview with director Linton Semage. The film is presented in its original Sinhalese with English subtitles.

Priced at $29.98, the DVD will be available on November 28th.
