Eagle Rock turns up the music on Blu-Ray

Eagle Rock announced a number of high definition titles for release in October, including Toto: Live In Amsterdam, Pat Metheny Group: The Way Up – Live, Elvis Costello And The Imposters: Club Date – Live In Memphis, The Black Crowes: Freak “N” Roll…Into The Fog – The Black Crowes All Join Hands: The Filmore, San Francisco and Alice Cooper: Live At Montreux 2005.

“Toto: Live In Amsterdam” offers up some of the supergroup’s coolest tracks, as this stunning concert captures the band at their very best, reunited with original vocalist Bobby Kimball. Shot in high defintion during their 2003 European Tour, the disc contains tracks such as “Girl Goodbye, Goodbye Elenore, Child’s Anthem, I’ll Supply the Love (Medley),” “Gift With a Golden Gun,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” “Bodhisattva,“ “Africa,” “Waiting For Your Love, Georgy Porgy, Lion, Hydra, English Eyes, Till the End (Medley),” “I Won’t Hold You Back,” “Rosanna,” “Afraid Of Love,” “Hold the Next Line,” “Next To You,” “Home Of the Brave” and “White Sister.”

“Pat Metheny Group: The Way Up” will offer an eclectic session of the jazz master, featuring tracks such as “Opening,” “Part One,” “Part Two” and “Part Three.”

“Elvis Costello And The Imposters: Club Date “ is the ticket that gets you in the door, up front and close. Filmed in High Definition and recorded in digital surround sound, at the Hi Tone Cafe in Memphis in front of 200 cats and kittens packed in like sardines, Elvis Costello and The Imposters tear it up with new songs and classics including Radio Radio, Pump It Up, Alison and Peace Love and Understanding, complete with appearances by Emmylou Harris.

All Join Hands as we Freak “n” Roll Into the Fog with The Black Crowes in concert at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA. Recorded on their 2005 critically-acclaimed reunion tour, this soulful performance finds them at the peak of 15 years of cosmic Rock “N” Roll.

Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extraordinary list of artist who have played there is drawn from across the musical spectrum and from around the world. Now, with the consent of the festival and the artists, Eagle Vision is making these concerts available on DVD for the first time.

Alice Cooper’s legendary stage spectacular paid its first visit to the Montreux Festival in 2005. Combining classic tracks such as “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, “Billion Dollar Babies”, Only Women Bleed“, ”Poison“ and ”School’s Out” with swords, straitjackets, a guillotine and much more, this is a live show like no other!

The DVDs will feature Dolby Digital Plus audio tracks as well as DTS and uncompressed PCM audio. They will be released on October 3 with a $24.98 suggested retail price.
