HBO Video is still planning on releases The Sopranos: Season 6, Part I on DVD in the fall, but has just announced the set will also arrive on Blu-Ray on the same day, making it the first high def television season release.

There is no word yet on whether features will be the same as the standard release, but HBO has mentioned that other seasons will soon follow suit.

Arriving on November 7th, the DVD and Blu-Ray will be priced at $99.95 and $129.95 respectively.
